SERVICE PROTECTION
Limited Warranty Policy
Straightforward coverage for qualifying repairs performed by HITUNE Industries LLC.
Policy version HITUNE-WARRANTY-2026-1 · Effective September 3, 2026
Standard coverage: 12 months or 12,000 milesQualifying repairs using new or remanufactured parts supplied by HITUNE are covered from the documented completion date and mileage, whichever limit occurs first. The repair order states any different coverage.
HITUNE-supplied parts
Qualifying repairs using new or remanufactured parts include coverage against defects in parts sold and installed by HITUNE and HITUNE’s installation workmanship for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Used, rebuilt, or reconditioned parts default to 90 days or 3,000 miles unless different coverage is written on the repair order. Your estimate identifies the parts and their price. Coverage is recorded on your repair order.
Customer-supplied parts
The part itself is not warranted by HITUNE. Approved installation workmanship is covered for 90 days. Diagnosis, removal, replacement, or repeat labor caused by an incorrect, incompatible, incomplete, or defective customer-supplied part is chargeable.
Diagnostics
Diagnostic service covers the testing and professional findings performed during the visit. It does not guarantee that one repair will resolve every symptom or that intermittent, concealed, or unrelated problems will be identified. A suspected error in HITUNE’s original testing may be rechecked within 30 days at no diagnostic charge.
Roadside services
Battery jumps, fuel delivery, spare-tire installation, and roadside diagnosis are warranted for proper performance when provided. They do not guarantee continued vehicle operation or warrant the customer’s battery, tire, wheel, spare, charging system, fuel system, or other existing component.
What is not covered
- Normal wear, maintenance, adjustment, noise, or cosmetic concerns unrelated to the covered repair.
- Accidents, impacts, misuse, racing, commercial abuse, overheating, flooding, fire, theft, vandalism, rodents, contamination, or environmental damage.
- Continued driving after a warning light, overheating, loss of oil pressure, abnormal noise, fluid loss, unsafe condition, or instruction to stop driving, when that continued use caused or worsened the damage.
- A failure caused by work, alteration, programming, towing, jump-starting, or modification performed by another person; unrelated systems; or failure to complete related repairs that HITUNE documented as necessary.
- Pre-existing rust, corrosion, seized or broken hardware, damaged wiring or connectors, prior improper repairs, hidden damage, inaccurate vehicle information, or a condition that could not reasonably be detected during the authorized service.
- Customer-supplied parts or fluids; consumables; or manufacturer/supplier exclusions. Batteries, tires, bulbs, wiper blades, fluids, filters, belts, brake friction material, and similar wear items are limited to verifiable defects rather than ordinary wear.
- Noise, vibration, warning lights, leaks, or symptoms that arise from a different component than the component repaired.
How to request warranty service
- Stop operating the vehicle if continued use may cause damage or create an unsafe condition.
- Notify HITUNE promptly and, when reasonably possible, before authorizing diagnosis, disassembly, or repair by anyone else.
- Provide the original repair order or invoice, current mileage, a description of the symptoms, and requested photos, videos, diagnostic results, or maintenance records.
- Allow HITUNE a reasonable opportunity to inspect, test, and correct the covered work. Removed parts must be preserved when practical.
Emergency work needed to protect people or prevent additional vehicle damage will be considered when advance contact was not reasonably possible and the customer supplies itemized records and the removed parts when available. Outside work is not automatically covered or reimbursed.
For a validated claim, HITUNE may repair the covered workmanship, repair or replace the covered part with a comparable part, or refund the amount originally paid to HITUNE for the failed covered item, at HITUNE’s election and to the extent permitted by law. Total warranty responsibility will not exceed the amount paid for the covered repair. Towing, storage, rental vehicles, lodging, lost income, loss of use, diminished value, and incidental or consequential expenses are not covered unless HITUNE approved them in writing beforehand or applicable law requires otherwise.
Claim verification and decisions
A returned symptom by itself does not establish a warranty failure. HITUNE may require inspection and reasonable testing to determine whether the covered part or workmanship failed and whether an exclusion contributed. The customer remains responsible for authorized diagnostic time when the concern is not caused by covered work. Please provide accurate records so we can review your claim. We’ll contact you if more information is needed.
Parts orders, deposits, and cores
Special-order, electrical, programmed, opened, installed, or nonreturnable parts may require a deposit. If the customer cancels after ordering, HITUNE may apply the deposit to actual supplier charges, freight, programming, restocking fees, and nonreturnable parts, with the balance returned when applicable. Expedited freight and core charges are disclosed separately when known. A refundable core charge remains due until the correct, rebuildable core is returned within the stated deadline; supplier rejection or a missing/damaged core makes that charge nonrefundable.
Supplier backorders, discontinued parts, shipping delays, and manufacturer processing times are outside HITUNE’s control and are not vehicle warranties. HITUNE will communicate material changes and obtain authorization before increasing the approved repair price beyond the amount allowed by the customer’s authorization.
Important terms
Coverage applies only to the original customer and vehicle identified on the repair order and is not transferable. Coverage begins on the documented completion date and recorded mileage. Specific written coverage shown on an estimate or invoice controls if it differs from this general policy. Replacement under warranty does not restart or extend the original coverage period unless required by law. Manufacturer or supplier warranty terms may also apply.
A warranty request does not cancel or postpone payment for authorized work. No employee or representative may expand this warranty orally. A change must be written on the repair order or invoice and approved by HITUNE. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Nothing in this policy waives rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
