FIND THE CAUSE BEFORE BUYING PARTS

Mobile car diagnostics in East Orlando.

A trouble code names the system that noticed a problem—it does not automatically identify the failed part. HITUNE tests the vehicle at your location and documents the next repair decision.

COMMON DIAGNOSTIC REQUESTS

Start with evidence, not a parts cannon.

Check-engine light

Scan data, code context and targeted tests help separate the root cause from symptoms and secondary codes.

No-start or slow crank

Battery condition, voltage drop, starter operation, power delivery and control signals may all matter.

Electrical concern

Warning lamps, inoperative circuits, parasitic drains and charging faults require circuit-level testing.

Drivability problem

Hesitation, misfire, stalling and loss of power can involve air, fuel, ignition, mechanical or control faults.

Battery or charging

Testing separates a discharged battery from battery failure, alternator trouble, cable resistance or an electrical drain.

Pre-repair confirmation

When another source recommended a part, independent testing can reduce the risk of replacing the wrong component.

THE DIAGNOSTIC PROCESS

What your visit may include

  • Verify the customer’s complaint and operating conditions
  • Visual inspection of related systems
  • Scan-tool code and live-data review when applicable
  • Battery, charging, voltage-drop or circuit testing as needed
  • Documented findings and a recommended next step
  • Separate estimate for repairs that can be confirmed

Diagnostics and repair are separate

Diagnostic time pays for testing and professional analysis. It does not guarantee that every intermittent fault will appear during a single visit, and repair charges require their own customer authorization.

For roadside diagnostic requests, describe what happened and what the vehicle is doing. Urgent requests are subject to manual acceptance and safe access.

DIAGNOSTIC FAQ

Know what you are paying for

Is reading a trouble code the same as diagnosing the car?

No. A code is a starting point. Diagnosis may require data analysis, electrical testing, mechanical testing and reproduction of the symptom.

Will the vehicle be repaired during the diagnostic visit?

Sometimes, if the cause is confirmed, the repair is mobile-capable, the necessary parts are available and you authorize the estimate. Otherwise you receive a documented next step.

What if the problem is intermittent?

Provide as much detail as possible, including when the symptom occurs, warning lights, sounds, weather, speed and recent repairs. Some faults may require additional testing if they do not occur during the visit.
